OEX Flux 7R Review – Not Worth It
I had high hopes for the OEX Flux 7R, but honestly, it turned out to be a complete letdown. At first, it seemed decent—lightweight, packed down well, and had a good R-value for colder nights. But what’s the point of all that if the thing won’t stay inflated?
After just a few uses, it started slowly deflating overnight, and by morning, I was basically lying on the cold, hard ground. I checked for punctures, but nope—it was just failing. Not exactly what you want when you’re out in the middle of nowhere, relying on it for a good night’s sleep.
In the end, I had to return it because it was completely unusable. For the price, I expected way better durability. If you’re after a reliable sleeping mat, I’d recommend looking elsewhere—this one’s not it.
