Comfort and Warmth
This thing is warm. Certainly not keep you warm in arctic conditions warm but warm for sure. So far I have used this down to ~2 celsius and I haven’t had any sort of warmth issue with it. It’s a solid 3 season bag. Pretty comfortable, plenty of room in it if you want a decent sleeping bag liner etc.
Design Features
The OEX Fathom EV 300 is a mummy bag with hood and neck baffle to protect you from the cold. The “anti-snag zipper” isn’t as good as they make it out to be as mine is constantly snagging against the material but hasn’t ripped it at all.
The material used is pretty soft, although slippy… I have struggled a few times with being on a slight incline and waking up having slid down my sleeping mat too much.
The sleeping bag has an internal pocket for keeping small things in like phone, torch etc so you’re not leaving them out exposed to damp, condensation etc.
