Camp Beds

Quechua camp bed

Cheap, sturdy and comfortable. Easiest way to sum up this camp bed!

The frame is a solid design with 5 support bars to spread your weight comfortably. The support bars are single pieces of hollow steel which means there isn’t much movement on the bed when using it which is great as other camp beds sway a bit when getting in / out of them because of the lightweight thin supports. The support poles twist in on one side and clip in on the other to the 2 3-piece poles that clip into the fabric.

The bed itself is 60cm wide and 185cm long which is plenty of room to sleep on. The dimensions mean there is plenty of room for an air mattress or the like as well to make it extra comfortable.

The bed is heavy and bulky because of the above, but if you are parked next to your pitch, this isn’t really an issue. I use this when in my hot tent mainly so that I am off the ground and not exposed to cold from underneath me but also so I am higher up in the tent where the heat gathers.

Price wise I think I paid around £30 for this a while ago and I have certainly had my money worth out of it.

There are much more expensive, lighter weight camp beds out there but until this does me great and will continue using until it gives in.
